Reviews of Archers Sleepcentre
"Bought mattresses. Brenda was very helpful and knowledgeable. Good experience"
"Friendly service and really good advice given about their products. I was very happy with my purchase"
"As soon as they’ve your money off you their interest in customer service evaporates. ‘Lewis’ was particularly rude. The whole purchased with this place from beginning to end was a disaster. AND. Bought the same product in another store for 300 quid less. Won’t be back needless to say."
"I bought a single bed and mattress from them around £900 and guess what, after 2 months the bed broke in the middle, not because of misuse, but because of the thinness of the layer of wood used with the lack of sufficient wooden supports. When I contacted them to solve the problem as there is warranty for it but they said they can replace it but I have to bay more money for the new one , so don’t be fooled what they are said about quality."
"My sister and I both ordered beds from here, she ordered a large single - got a text to say the bed would be delivered, then got texts every hour of the delivery slot changing, when she finally contacted them they said the bed hadn’t arrived from the company yet and weren’t sure when it would come. When it had arrived and got sent out there was only one half of the divan base - not mattress or nothing. So she rejected the delivery and sent it back. They refused to offer any compensation as she had gotten rid of her current bed to make room for the new one. They offered to send out a “loan bed” which came and was also broken, one of the metal parts in the mattress poked through and nearly cut through her. Then her new bed came and that was fine. Then we ordered a double bed as she was moving out, when this was delivered the drawers inside the bed were both cracked through the middle of the bottom part, the material of the bed was damaged and one of the drawers wouldn’t close as the runner had come away from the drawer and was hanging. Then I ordered a double bed for my room which came and same issue, the drawer had come away from the runner and wouldn’t close properly. Again got rid of my bed to make room for the new bed - had to reject the delivery as I don’t want a broken bed and phoned them to let them know and they couldn’t do anything, wouldn’t offer any compensation as they don’t offer it at all and told me I shouldn’t have gotten rid of my current bed in case the NEW bed that was coming was broken. Absolutely unacceptable considering how much this has put me out and to be told that I shouldn’t have gotten rid of my old bed when I live in a 2 bedroom flat with no room to store a single bed in case my new bed is broken. The girls in the contact centre were polite however offered no help or sympathy and just kept saying they don’t offer compensation and couldn’t do anything to help. Worst customer experience I’ve ever had."
