Reviews of Elm Park Nursery
"Highly recommend. Large garden space and inform well your child's lunch and activities with individual attention. Elm's Park's activities are specifically tailored for character building and confidence. Choosing your child's school can be a stressful and daunting experience, but they were extremely supportive and reassuring when concerns were raised. Very pleased with my son's development at the nursery and couldn't thank enough for the great start."
"Couldn’t recommend more. Our little boy has been at Elm Park from seven months old; a home from home for him."
"It is very sad to hear that we had not met your expectation Albert a few months ago. It is a shame you had left before the new management was in place. I do believe that this was privately addressed with yourself and your comments had been reviewed by senior management who reviewed the CCTV and confirmed that there was nothing untoward with your childs settle session on the day in question, namely the key person who was interacting and seeking multiple activities to support your child. Many children have differing experiences when starting nursery and GDPR prevented footage being shared to you as it contained other children. However we had this regulated and you were given feedback on this. We do hope your child has a great experience on any future educational journey and should you have any questions on most recent improvements, please do get in touch. Management"
"I would highly recommend Elm Park , it is a super calm environment and the children are all happy, I signed my son up before I left, the manager that showed me around made me feel very welcomed. Seb’s introduction was so smooth and very supported by all the ladies within the baby suit. He is now on his fifth week and doing really well. I love seeing the pictures they upload of him, enjoying lots of messy play, which I would never do at home! Thank you Elm Park"
"Where do I start… Avoid this place at all costs. Why? They’ve nearly traumatised my 3 year old daughter by using non Montessori methods that also are not even recommended to use anywhere… just on her first and only month and actually just from her second day. After a conversation with our daughter we had to have a formal conversation with the head teacher and everything was also confirmed by her… Like leaving them alone crying for hours while having a tantrum alone in another room so the other kids don’t get affected, confirmed by the head teacher… (She had resigned btw…) Using stickers as a way to reward them for their good actions and for the bad kids there’s no sticker… nice method to divide them and teach them how to look always for a reward from their actions. Leaving them inside a “shame circle” in the middle of their classroom if they are naughty or difficult not allowing them to play with toys and without speaking with the other kids unless they say sorry, ridiculous… what are their young minds learning from this? Countdown method to make them sit down or pay attention… what if they are not coming when you say 3… are you going to punish them? Calling her names… like “troublemaker”, “drama queen”, “bad girl”… And I can keep going. My daughter is clever enough to express herself in different languages even though she’s only 3 and a half now and she told us everything, she said many times “they make me sad”. She was so different since she started in this place… she started to be more rebel, more introverted and feeling more insecure. Every morning she cried and cried saying “I’m afraid! I’m afraid!” until the teacher used to take her inside and we felt the pain every time but we’ve thought that it was normal, until she told us exactly what it was. Fortunately she’s going to another nursery which she feels welcomed, she’s treated the way she deserves as she’s a really energetic girl, she still remembers “the other nursery”, and she still says “they made me feel sad”. Now she says “I like the new nursery and I love the teachers” as every morning the teacher welcome her with a really nice and positive attitude while on Elm Park was received like she was not welcomed… Really bad and as per contract I had to pay the next month even though she was not going which I would like to get a full refund, but even if I get a refund this wouldn’t be fair… as nothing will remove this really bad and traumatic experience from my daughter’s thoughts."
