"Edinburgh's Royal Mile is full of history, restaurants, shops and unique experiences, making it a must-see destination for anyone visiting the city. At one end is the Edinburgh castle which is incredible in and of itself. Make sure you are ready to hike up stairs and/or steep hills while visiting the castle. The history is worth the workout. Also, along the Royal Mike is Mary King's Close, another fascinating historical tour of the homes and streets underneath the city. Street performers along the Royal Mile included a bagpipes and an owl handler."
