Reviews
"The location is great (Tesco, restaurants and bus stops nearby), facilities good (washing machine, kitchen, TV with Netflix etc), but the apartment is in shambles. Half of the radiators not working and poorly fixed to the wall, windows getting stuck and not closing (definitely an issue in winter), greasy cutlery and dirty dishes, no toilet paper provided, toilet not flushing after few uses, one lamp on the wall with cracked glass. Decent for a few nights in Edinburgh but definitely not the first choice."
"The accommodation we have booked for four days. We were also four. The beds were too small, and worn. The couch was acceptable, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. It was supposed to be cleaned itself, it did not seem to have happened for a long time. (Is also heavy without utensils). There were big problems with the payment, it was agreed that we pay cash, The accommodation has tried to clear the money, this did not work, you reportedly sent e-mails that never arrived. The owner was very rude and naughty. However, he sent someone to clarify it, the gentleman was extremely nice. 50 pounds, more was required. The supposedly clean sheets were full of blood. Various things were missing or were broken, a socket, hot water, the windows, holes in the walls, hardly any pots or pans. Good was only that we could go in the morning at 4 o'clock and the evening before the bail received back. The way to the bus and shopping is very short and pleasant. And the apartment was very quiet."
"Tbe rooms were generally cleana nd in a good location. Showering and bathroom facilities were a joke however we just didn't use them. Too much of an issue"
"Not very clean Availability of hot water appalling very old noisy system. Old heating system, not all heaters working. Not suitable for people with disabilities to many stairs to deal with. Electric hob had no numbers to correctly set the oven. The TV was a tiny computer monitor. Clock needed batteries changing. Handle in the bathroom window was broken. The photos which advertise the apartment are very deceiving. They make the apartment look much more spacious than it actually is."
"Just fine for an affordable holiday. Good option for students."
