"Miserable and unhelpful staff. Avoid if you can. Better off going to the Gillingham store. Even though they have a smaller selection, they are definitely more willing to help. Bought in the end the exact same sandals there, just because the staff member in Strood couldn't be bothered to show them to me."
"I bought two pairs of jogging bottoms from the Strood branch and they started to fall apart after one wear and one wash. They refused to take them back, so I am currently in the process of taking action against Sports Direct for supplying faulty clothing. The matter is also going through Trading Standards. Sports Direct are refusing to answer or acknowledge my complaint and I am getting a similar response from their Head Office, so it is likely that I am going to have to pursue the matter through the Courts. I'm not sure a massive company can get away with not having a Complaints Procedure. But then again, if don't allow people to complain, you can get away with whatever you like. Rogue Trader, I think the term is?"
"Masses if choice but hard to navigate. Altho the lady at the till eas very pleasant and helpful, when I was on the shop floor no one came to assist with footwear choice and knee support. But the prices I payed were very very competitive so worth the drive."
"Good prices, however how can a clothes shop have their changing rooms closed during the busiest period (12-3). Just wanted to try on a pair of shorts (which I refuse to do in public) just for the manager to tell me she 'has to run breaks'... decent customer service would've been that you would stand by the door whilst I took the 30's to try on some clothes... really shocking experience"
