Reviews
"I gave this company great reviews when they delivered and put up the shed , once the rain started leaking into the shed I contacted them, I was asked if I had creosote the shed again I said no the shed should be water proof nothing to do with protecting the wood I eventually had to repair the leak myself now the weather has become worse the hut is now leaking in water again at a different corner after the shed had been given 3 coats of creosote . All sheds should be water proof extremely not Happy"
"Terrible service awful experience. Arrived Sunday had to ask the guy there if he worked there as he was not looking at me. Asked for wood seemed like he didn't want to be there. Another customer arrives he then serves him first felt my Asian race had something to do with it. Took him half an hour as he took forklft and large quantity. After customer leaves he then serves me. I had to cut 4 wood to fit in car so was cutting wood guy then makes cheeky comment " you building the shed here" as in hurry up or gtf kind of thing, Would never go back here ever even if they had the only wood in the world feels like they are doing you a massive favour getting the wood even though we buy it cash. Feel free to report to police go ahead rather than making threats I said "I felt like my Asian race had something to do with it" rather than saying he was racist it's how I feel rather than what it was 100%. If he has Autism and doesn't like talking perhaps he should not be there as customer service involve s interactions a lot of people and reviews stated they are being ignored as the disability isn't visible and I wasn't mocking his disability as wasn't even aware he was disabled I wouldn't ever go back here which I stated so no need to inform me I'm not welcome there as I would never go back to an awful place also I knew exactly what I wanted and requested it gave all the sizes in cm however still another was served first"
"Had refrained from posting a review because these have been an exceptional few months, but I'm about to start a new project which I'd previously have sourced materials for from here. So I thought I'd see how their rating has faired and if anyone else's customer experience has been as disappointing and unexpected as my own. It seems so. Before Covid I went out of my way to buy materials here for small projects around the garden as they were competetive on price. Tried to buy some materials in May and was promised delivery three times. Each time I managed to speak to someone the excuses got lamer. I wouldn't have minded being told they couldn't fulfil my order, but I was repeatedly told it would be delivered and so I waited and kept calling and trusting. That desire to support a local family business cost me time and when it dawned on me that I was just being strung along and they weren't actually taking my order it was too late to start the project. I'll gladly pay a little more to shop somewhere more competent in future to at least get some customer service and certainty. Being competetive is about more than pricing and making loyal customers feel like mugs and wasting their time is inexcusable."
