"1 star because zero isnt an option. The one good thing about Wickes is the catchy tune in the advert and that is it. Bought a combination ladder for a time sensitive project, the first set were badly damaged. At their leasure the replacement set arrived more damaged than the first set, another wait for the 3rd set. They were delivered as fragile but were slightly dented but I accepted them on the basis that a secondary support bar was provided in place of a 10% disount, it never arrived despite countless email exchanges. They said it had been delivered then it wasnt in the same sentence? They would say anything to fob you off. My project was put back 2 months. It is an important project to improve a disabled relatives life, MS is a ruthless disease. I cannot forgive you for what you did delaying progress! You couldn't care less, Wickes, you do not decide what is important to your customers!"

"I bought (was fleeced) £22.00 for kiln dried hardwood x 1 large bag, (probably no more than 15kg) which on opening was soaked through and unusable and ended up in my brown compost bin. Overpriced rubbish! I would never buy it again, nor would I recommend anyone else does. Shocking waste of money and utterly appalling that Wickes have this out for sale."

Your design consultants are too negative, didn’t care, couldn’t be bothered and don’t design bathrooms apparently. The reason your staff are like this is because of you and your management skills. "Staff are nice and friendly. I do regularly use but recently the housekeeping has been terrible, availability of trolleys has been very limited as all in use by staff or returns sat on them not yet restocked. The stock levels on the website are actually a joke and forklift driver specific items are only available when they have a driver. In a few orders they have gone home and not dropped stuff like insulation down. Lots of room for improvement as I’ve countless wasted journeys. Makes me look elsewhere"

"Website said product in stock ready to collect after 1 hour. Ordered it. Got a phone call from a guy saying it's in stock but in the racking and they don't have a forklift driver. But they'll have it down in a couple of hours. No problem as I'm at work. I finish 6 hours later, drive all the way over (petrol is a fortune too) and it's STILL in the racking. Order cancelled. Won't use Wickes again. Easy."
