"I first met Zoltan when he worked as a finishing joiner on the complete refurbishment of a period flat conversion that I own in Edinburgh city centre. The project had lots of intricate woodwork and needed more than just a typical joiner - someone with really excellent woodworking skills. More recently he has made a new panelled door for a vestibule, a decorative cupboard to hide a gas meter, lovely stained doorway thresholds (to match an antique balustrade/handrail), and rehung/adjusted and draught proofed doors. He is polite, courteous, always full of ideas and sound advice, is very neat and tidy treating your house like his own, and always gives his customers really great service. "Of all the cabinet makers I contacted, Ediwood provided the most personalised service and the finished product was excellent. The owner, Zoltan, measured out space under the stairs and returned a quotation with some details 3D diagrams of what he was going to do. We liked the design best and the price was very competitive. Zoltan kept in touch throughout the process and his employee Ian who did the work was very hard working and efficient, especially given the walls and flooring were not completely level. Even after it became apparent the drawer was touching the floor when fully loaded due to a bow in the floor, they came over the next working day and it was fixed."
