"I had an oil leak in my car and the oil began to smoke in the engine bay so I took the car to be inspected. I phoned in advance to get some advice or to see if it was something he would look into and he simply told me to look for the leak myself and call him back once I found the leak, he just hung up the call while I was explaining the situation. Guy is extremely rude and unhelpful."

"I took my car as I needed an oxygen sensor replaced yesterday, and to his credit, the sensor was replaced. However, while replacing it, he had to move some radiator hoses around and this morning I noticed a puddle underneath my car and the coolant reservoir empty. I phoned him to tell him that he must have knocked a hose off or loosened a connection because the leak was not there before, but he became extremely defensive and said "it wasn't him, he didn't cause the damage, it's my own problem" and hung up the call. The guy has zero manners and is extremely rude, even yesterday when replacing the sensor he was getting annoyed and frustrated with myself as I had told him on the phone it was just needing replaced, and that I hadn't told him how difficult it would be to replace. Is that not his job? How am I meant to determine what he will and won't find difficult to do on a car? If you want someone who will take responsibility and treat you with some respect and not damage your car in the process, then avoid this place at all costs. I am in the process of booking an appointment with another garage to take a look at the leak and everything is fully booked up until the end of the month so now I need to manage a coolant leak caused by the mechanic who is rude and ill mannered and has zero accountability for his own workmanship. Avoid."

"This garage assisted my wife yesterday when she had a problem with the brakes in her car. They checked the car was safe to drive and advised her to return home to Ayrshire and attend her normal garage for a repair. A very generous and helpful thing to do as they had no prior knowledge of her or the car and were obviously busy with cars that were booked. Unusual in this day to find such generous action, based on this experience I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a garage in the south side of Glasgow."
