"Ordered a car from Blantyre to Denniston tonight. Driver arrived in good time. Took my wife and I to Meadowbank St. Good conversation with driver . Phoned for a taxi back home at 11.45 and was told taxi would be with us soon. Got a message from Hasties that I had to pay £29 upfront even though this was not mentioned at time of booking. Even got a call back, which means your taxi is there. Didn't have a card with me, only cash. Phoned Hasties back and told them I would pay the driver before he took me anywhere. Nope was the answer. They left my wife and me stranded in Denniston with no taxi. Phoned Glasgow cabs who picked us up no problem. Cheaper as well. Only £22. Guess who I will be using from now on. Not Hasties. Very arrogent on phone saying it was John the owners company policy."
