"This may be my favourite shop in the city I like to tinker on various projects from electric motors to motorcycle restoration and wood working & this store has all the bits & pieces you might need (except the actual timber). Apologies I know this is a massive review but it's worth it and doesn't cover most of what this shop stocks :-). You may have to dig around for what you need however that's part of what makes it fun because you will find other bits you had forgotten you needed or a part that solves a problem holding you up on another project. Don't panic if rooting around or scanning the shelves is not your idea of fun, or you are in a rush, simply ask the owner Sharif where something is he will be able to tell you exactly where to look as he has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the products he sells and where they are. He is a very intelligent man fixing screens on phones/tablets, changing watch batteries, installing/updating software on computers/laptops (if you are having issues doing it yourself) along with other skilled phone fixes at reasonable prices. He is very friendly and happy to offer advice about what product you might need to resolve your challenge AND he has Coca Cola in glass bottles ha-ha!"

"If you are into DIY this is the place to go in Newtongrange for hand tools, fixtures and fittings. You will also find cleaning products for home and car, paint,brushes for same and for home cleaning use. Batteries, light bulbs, baskets,bins and a heck of a lot more. You can also top up your PAYG phone,get screen protectors or get it repaired if needed. My kind of shop!"

"I went here to have to have a battery changed in my wife phone. A very nice gentleman served myself, I left my phone with him to pick up next day!! He got it spot on, the battery replaced and working great my wife was delighted!! This shop has a really good stock of household goods of great variety for around the home at good prices, so its worth a visit if you are in the area."
