Reviews of Ffrith Beach Arena Park
"On the day booking made by phone as online must be done a day in advance. Friendly welcome, clean and tidy site. Large pitches with EHU and water tap. Grey water drop is easy to access. Elsan point very clean. Facilities good. Security gate to the beach which is just a few minutes away. Turn left at the top of the road after the gate, then bear right at the railing for an accessible pathway. Bowling and club on site . Prestatyn is close by with a retail park which has a Tesco store."
"We have been here several times and will be going back soon. The site is well kept and very clean."
"Thus place we never budge from 5 Stars got everything you need. Great restaurant across a sizzling pub and the chippy and kebab shop local can bring into bar area. Only little thing found this time after numerous visits is that 2 year old should be free on ten pin bowling that's only things maybe lirsty and gang can address"
"A lovely clean site.... toilets/showers/ wash area immaculate, best we've seen. Beach is literally 2-3mins walk (bit uphill for anyone with mobility issues) and its gated so keeps the campsite very safe. Clubhouse is great when kids are bored or you want to go bowling or have a drink. Staff really nice & friendly, Manager is a very nice guy too. All in all we loved it & will definitely go again!!!!"
"We were here with our touring caravan for 3 nights. It's drab to say the least. We had booked an 'upgraded' pitch online prior to our arrival. You report to the reception, which is actually inside the bowling alley????Difficult to find towing a caravan as no signpost from main road .In reception young girl in charge didn t appear to know what she was doing to book a caravan in.Difficult to hear what she was saying above the very noisy bowling going on nearby.Anything I asked about she told me to see the park ranger who could not be found at all when I went to look gorgeous him. We were allocated a pitch on what can only be described as a disussed ,neglected carpark. It looks abysmal. There are some grass pitches behind this area and ever so slightly more scenic so we 'downgraded ' to a plot there with no refund . The only plus is that you are a short 10 min stroll over some dunes to a very lengthy beach. There is a nearby pavilion (half hour stroll), which does food and drinks. Food didn t look appetising at all,all deep fried stuff, overpriced too. Another 10 min walk takes you to a nice hotel which had a lovely menu, well priced Did lovely cocktails too. Be aware strictly no dogs allowed on the beach at all or risk a £100 instant imposed fine by the beach warden on patrol We heard of a few fines being imposed during our stay. The caravan park was almost empty during our 3 night stay. Would not recommend this place at all."
