"DO NOT PAY INTO THE BANK - PAY BY CREDIT CARD NO MATTER WHAT, before you purchase please read below. I wouldn’t use them at all if I were you - they took £1300 off my company without an engine ever coming, took the the court and won, still didn’t pay, sent in the sheriffs (takes months in Scotland though!!!!!) they had changed company and address by the time they got there, they were based in Glasgow but now in paisley. Use them if you want to pay for something you’ll never get or something that’s come from a scrap yard."

"I got 2 for engines rebuilt by these for £2150 block only. Both took ages and they blamed someone who used to work there. Then both engines broke after 4 weeks and we sent 1 back first which they tried to say was not under warranty. Eventually sorted after 7-8 weeks again to find that the complete engine I sent up was returned in boxes with lots of parts missing including clutch and flywheel. I told them I want replacement sent and second engine sorted to which I was told second engine was over the 6mths warranty so can't even though I rang them after only 4 weeks. Now they will not reply to emails or calls. I will be reporting them to trading standard"

"This firm is a disgrace, they took over £1000 for an engine that I never received, I phoned them over 30 times with different lies every time, they never called me back to resolve even though they promised they would. I was assured of a refund and over 2 months after paying them by a debit card they say they have not received any money!! I have proof they received it but they refuse to give it me back. I am now faced with taking them to court. Avoid at all costs they are very unprofessional and just want your money. I eventually got a vat reciept after around 6 weeks after may phone calls asking for one but it had no vat number on it, my youngest child could of produced it. The payment was paid to mallbay even though I was not aware of this at point of sale. It is a sham and I warn people not to spend any money with them as I might not be the only one. If I could of given them a no star rating I would and even that would be too much."

"Last month I was contacted by Matthew regarding an engine for my Merc C220, he gave me a very competitive price which was within my budget and once I paid for it 7 days later the engine was delivered to my garage, no problems or stresses. The mechanic has fitted the engine now and I am back on the road. Heard a lot of horror stories regarding the motor trade in general but this was one of the easiest things I have done. I would and will recommend this company to anyone who needs an engine or parts for a vehicle. Great service provided all round."

"AVOID AT ALL COSTS I checked them out and it turns out they used to be called Direct engines LTD glasgow. Check their previous reviews: They may also have connections to another company seemingly under the same name but with a different address. They will rip you off and have done so to many others, the engines they sell are broken and they know it. You have been warned, when they have court cases against them they simply dissolve the company and keep your money. You have been warned."
