Really lovely park well worth a visit to distress and take in the scenery."
"A beautiful park, with a bird-filled lake, wide, tree-lined avenues, and a playground. The playground is in need of a bit of tlc, but the kids still love it. The palm house is lovely to visit and have a wonder around, especially in the cold. It's also great for a coffee and cake at the cafe inside, or the van outside when that's closed. The other main cafe in the park is perfect for an ice cream and you can get a bag of duck food there too (also has toilets). It's worth visiting in spring to see the huge fields of daffodils."
"Nice large park. Grassy areas for games. A nice walk through the trees and around the lake. Cafe and toilets at either end. Decent sized play area for kids with tennis courts and table tennis. Lots of free parking around."
