"Had a lovely drive out to Moore Nature Reserve , went to feed the birds but unfortunately you can't get access to the lake , still enjoyed the walk through reserve , kept under trees for dog as quite warm in the sun , managed to get some pictures of Lake via bird hides , stunning area , saw one squirrel and a kestrel whilst out , dog enjoyed the outing , had a good run around"
"Great place for a walk. Lots of bird watchers go here but it's a lot bigger than it seems and you can walk for a couple of hours. There's a dogs of lead field in front of the car park but because of the car park it is not secure. Dogs must be on lead in all other areas apart from here, so bear that in mind if your dog has more fun off lead."
"Great for walks, runs and rides. There are paths where they aren't muddy as they've been treated or you can explore and get into more muddy paths, very calm and quiet. Great to appreciate nature just 10' from Warrington."
"Lovely quiet place for a walk. Large field, woodland and a reservoir but you can only see the water through a viewing point. We saw a beautiful red butterfly (looked a bit like a peacock butterfly), orange caterpillar and what looked like blue dragon flies We spent about an hour here on a Sunday late afternoon and we only saw one couple across the field walking their dog and a gentleman walking his dog coming out of the woodland path. Very easy to social distance. Car park was closed (we went late July) but you can park round the corner and enter the reserve through the gate opposite the industrial estate. BE WARNED - there are loads of mosquitos near the feeding station and I got bitten 11 times!"
