"Beautiful place , very peaceful pram and wheelchair friendly. No toilets . If your lucky you might see a deer . Look for the carvings and the fairy doors . You can't buy food here but a few picnic benches and normal benches take your own ."
"Absolute hidden gem. The reserve which now forms part of the Wigan and Leigh National Nature Reserves. Fantastic work carried out by local volunteers in maintaining and improving the site, all of whom work hard to fundraise and improve the site. Look out for events and guided walks throughout the year, encouraging everyone of all abilities to participate and enjoy the environment which form part of Low Hall's flora and fauna. Low hall is the perfect place to endulge in 'Woodland Bathing' ,let yourself unwind and soak up the sights, sounds and smell of this beautiful place. The meadows have recently been mowed and are now on course to reach their maximum pristine condition over a period of 3 to 4 years. Hats off to the Committee and Friends of Low Hall members in helping Low Hall to become a premier green space in the local community. Take photographs and leave only footprints. Leave no trace and please take all your litter to the bins provided, that includes dog waste. Thanks."
"Lovely place to walk! (If it has been raining bring wellies!) Lots of boards with information on including about the old station on the land. There was not a lot of parking but the car park was near enough empty on a Saturday so wasn’t an issue. Dropped a star for the amount of litter in some areas of the lake which was a shame."
"A nice short walk around the trail though unfortunately several trees are uprooted and crossing part of the footpath and many other areas. It’s as though it’s unkempt, maybe due to limited or no funding. Good size car park. Handy for a short walk."
"Beautiful place to walk your dog. It could do with more litter/dog waste bins though i noticed there was hardly any... Long pathways through woodland with a lake in the centre. Lots of different wildlife"
