Reviews
"It is a big grass land with a small play area and three basketball rack. The council can make it more beautiful."
"Great for my beautiful girl Xena to run and play"
"As a natural environment encouraging some biodiversity and the return of nature to what was a colliery it's very good but hard to explore without wellingtons! It's paths are very muddy and in total disrepair. Quite a lot of the area is very wet to swampy, including some of the pathways. The play and recreation areas need much upgrading. Robert Hampton."
"Lovely walking area - and good views from the top on a clear day - especially Guy Fawkes and New Years Day. There's a play area for young children and a foot path that goes all round the park."
"Lovely open space, spoilt by the litter, needles and broken glass all over the place. A number of ASDA trolleys litter the place and there seems little prospect that the local council will do anything about it. Surprisingly wild life thrives, with kestrels and plenty of water fowl, frogs toads and newts."
