"Recently moved and was looking for a new hairdresser for a cut and blow dry. Came across Nyree Cochrane through Google and saw great reviews. I checked FB and saw similar reviews. I used FB to book an appointment and was sent a quick response and was told at booking there would be extra measures for COVID: arrive at the front door, wait to be seen and wear a mask. I was also told how much the cut and blow dry would be and that card payments are taken. All interactions have been helpful and friendly, and I was contacted to say my appointment could be moved earlier if I was available which was great. The salon is modern, very clean and welcoming. I was asked lots of questions about how I wanted my hair, how I usually look after it normally etc before being taken for a wash. Very pleased with the time taken to blow dry my hair so it reflected what my hair naturally looks like and how I'd look after it at home (blow dry fringe and leave to dry naturally to keep my curls and waves). Hairdressers usually resort to straighteners for cutting my hair so it was a nice change. Everyone was very chatty and helpful, telling me all the things to do in the area, what it's like to live here etc which made me feel welcome in the community. I was asked if everything was OK with my final cut and was told that I'm welcome back any time if I feel like I need more layers cut in etc. Very happy with my hair and have had lots of compliments from people. It feels great to have a haircut after lockdown and resorting to cutting my hair myself!"
