"Bought tyres for fitting as the price offered was very competitive. Left with damaged rims all around, vastly overly inflated tyres (different pressures all around), thumb prints in light interiors and wheel balance falling off (albeit the fault of the weather). However, the store manager was extremely attentive and helpful and offered compensation without any fuss. He also personally made sure the issues were swiftly rectified to a good standard. The reason that I reluctantly left three stars is that I really felt this shouldn’t have happened in the first place, as it could be quite dangerous had someone who’s not into cars just drive the car like it is and never checked their tyre pressure. Moreover for people with uncommon rims (like mine - which is not available to buy anymore), it can be really heartbreaking to have any damages done no matter the compensation."

"Made an appointment for 930 Tuesday morning a few days in advance as we needed to get the car sorted out so we could drive home to the highlands. Wednesday afternoon they still hadn’t looked at the car, concept of an appointment and doing things in a timely manner and communicating with the customer totally lost on the reception staff. Don’t waste your time."

"Amazing customer service. Was in Edinburgh visiting my dad and my engine light came on and was worried about travelling back home to my local garage. After phoning other Kwikfit branches who were too busy to see me, I phoned the Morningside branch and they told me to come down with my car as soon as. They checked over my car and resolved the issue (thankfully nothing serious!), they also done it free of charge which I was very grateful for! Very happy with their service, would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you again :)"

"I was pleased that my request to have an MOT on a particular date could be met. Staff very nice on the phone. However, when I returned to collect car, was met by a young apprentice whose opening words were "Your car has failed." I was quite shocked. Could he not have said instead "The test went very well. Everything was fine apart from a couple of small things which we can easily fix for you." When I suggested this to an older member of staff, he said he would have a word with the young lad and endeavour to improve his own training methods. That was an unexpected and impressive statement. Well done Kwik Fit Morningside!"
