"Absolutely abysmal service, took my car for an MOT there and it failed. They quoted nearly £400 for the repairs plus £55 for the MOT despite my normal garage in Newcastle quoting £150. Took it to Stein's Garage recommended by a friend afterwards and they repeated the MOT test, found that some of the repairs weren't even needed for the MOT and fixed the whole car up for £200 including the MOT. Shocking that this garage tried to exploit the fact I have an old car to make more money by performing an extra harsh MOT. Will not be coming back."
"Had a snapped road spring go into a tyre wall and they could fit me in the next day. Ended up being a slightly more difficult job than initially thought but I inspected the damage myself before taking it in and everything Brian said over the phone was accurate to my knowledge. No messing me about (if anything I messed them about a bit because initially I was going to drive the car in but decided it needed lifting). Communication was excellent and I'll be going again for my MOT in a few months. Receptionist was also very helpful, didn't try to talk her way around things, quoted me what she could and passed me on when she couldn't help (I believe her name was Kim, sorry if I got that wrong!)."
