"Absolutely abysmal service, went in looking for a pair of skecher work boots, which I took to be available in store as per Internet, asked the assistant, was told they did not have,I mentioned my online check,to which I received an extremely cheeky response, well i wouldn't get them all on that wall, civility and good manners are paramount in retail acheeky response is not what I expect from this company"
"Just had the worst shopping experience at this store, bought a pair of trainers, took them back to have a refund, told I couldn’t as I had wore them outside! I explained I hadn’t, I had merely tried them on! Staff were adamant I had as they had a spot of dirt on the sole! Spoke to manager he was very rude also, no customer service skills atall, staff are very unfriendly and unskilled, shouldn’t be working with the public, will never shop here again!! Avoid at all costs!"
"I had a terrible experience yesterday! My partner and i went to this branch to buy some stuff, we wanted to buy roller skate and some sport wear, fitting room was totally mess, it was a lady pad at the corner of the fitting room! when my partner tried the sport wear on, we took some of them and fold the others and put them in to the basket, one of the staff - her name was Arlene approached us and asked to hang the clothes, I explained that we did not have hangers she then proceeded to be incredibly rude to us advising she wasn’t responsible for cleaning up ours or anyone else’s mess - with the way she spoke to us, I felt very upset as a customer. I was ready to spend £150 in the shop but instead decided I had to leave. Never have I been dealt with so poorly and I wanted to share my experience publicly as it was very distressing for us as a paying customer. Hopefully the store can now work on improving its customer service with this feedback."
"Been here a couple of times, in fact going back up today. The young girl who served me was very polite and helpful. Great for parking and plenty stock I could not find a pair of Adidas trainers and she found them online for so I ordered them when I got home. If you pick in store you get a £5.00 voucher. I know they the staff are not all happy and jolly, you put me on a zero hour contract I'll show you the opposite of jolly."
"Maybe Mike Ashley will turn this shop into House of Fraser. There's loads of decent gear in Sports Direct and at some great prices, but why does it look like a jumble sale? Everything is set out so higgelty piggelty. They have some good T-shirts, I bought two for under £30.00. Sports shops now probably sell the best gear on the high street."
