"Came in tonight for food with my 50% off voucher, informed that kitchen closed today. Very unfair on staff having to tell customer's there no food. When is management going to run the place in a proper manner."
"Went today for “Woucher” Boozy Brunch deal for a Friends Birthday - absolutely fantastic - The Manager “Gill” knows exactly what welcoming customer service is all about. We will 100% definitely be back very soon as a group with our neighbours who love to socialise together. Cannot recommend highly enough .. Food / Drink / Service all faultless."
"Very shocked and disappointed!!! When I asked about food was told it was a reduced menu then I went to order food told that the kitchen closed 5 minutes ago but there was other options like a Chinese or check on just eat this was by the manager Jill who then by all accounts started to tell me all the issues they’ve had and it was lucky the kitchen was even open (don’t know how that’s supposed to help me) Far from me to comment on how to run a business but I was never asked what I was wanting to see if they could make it and to tell customers about the issues your having is not good practice. On a last note with hospitality I understand your a pub that sells food but you don’t expected the staff (Jill) to be smelling of cigarette smoke it’s not nice for the customer. As a result myself and family wouldn’t be back"
"I went here for dinner and there was a sign on the door stating due to staff shortages and training, the kitchen wouldn't be open until 16:30 which was fine. I arrived and enquired about having food and was advised that they were running a smaller menu due to staff shortages. I noticed they didn't have a good selection for vegetarians on the dishes they had selected from the normal menu. I had a steak with peppercorn sauce. It was delicious and well cooked. The cut wasn't stated in the menu but it was a sirloin. I was able to order from the table through the QR code to get the website. Good experience."
"Our local spot. We've been regularly visiting for the last three years. We noticed a significant improvement over the last few months. We like the food options, great prices, good kids' menu. It's a family-friendly pub. It's spacious and cosy. They did redo the interior, and looks even better now. We also enjoy the outside terrace. Spacious and sunny. Free parking on site. They organise quizzes and live music."
