"It’s like the Pharmacy is operated by sloths they are so slow. But sloths would be faster. So I was made to wait 3 days for medication, after a 12 hour visit to casualty for medicine which was out of stock. I only found that out by walking back to the Pharmacy 3 days later, as they couldn’t be bothered to ring me to let me know plus they wouldn’t answer their own phone when I try to call them, utterly useless avoid like the plague. It’s a shame you can’t give a place no stars."
"Intentionally slow in processing orders. The basic waiting time is an hour. That is insane!!! Is 10 times slower than any other pharmacy. Every single time I visit this place there is problems, People complaining, Having in mind that there are inside the hospital and for that reason they have higher demand than an usual farmacy they should be ready to manage this volume of orders in time. Just you have in mind. I wait an hour only for some basic pils, no preparation or mix need. Only take an deliver what the doctor prescribe!"
"The place is a joke. At what point is an hour an acceptable wait time when electronic prescriptions have been sent thirty mins prior. They won't even start them till you have queued for twenty mins then to be told it's an hour's wait. Not fit for purpose and needs taking back over by the hospital as Lloyds are pathetic. Edit: six months later (07/02/2023) if anything the place has gotten worse. Was told an hour plus when I put in a new prescription. Soon found out that it wasn't even close. Try 3hrs. Contacted the complaints phone number and they fobbed me off with 'it's hard at the moment'. Contacted the hospital complaints team and they came down immediately but couldn't make anything happen because, and I kid you not, they didn't have any managers working. She was informed it was an hour's turnaround at which point I reminded her I had already been there an hour. So I called her every 30mins to tell her I was still waiting as she asked. Nothing done though."
"Two hour wait as an outpatient really isn’t acceptable, especially after an appointment in another department running an hour late. I have to return the next day as I couldn’t spend any more time waiting, hopefully all the medicine will be ready as it’s a difficult and long journey to the hospital without a car."
