"Originally went on 7th Feb to pick up my son's prescription after initially waiting 10 mins in the queue, I was told it could be an hour wait for the medicine, so I went off to get some coffee and snack about 40 mins later I came back to a crowd of people waiting for their orders, as I stood near the door I hear a customer shouting that he'd been waiting over an hour. I looked around the shop which had loads gaps probably from either not filling up or stock stolen and dust on shelves. I saw a newspaper picked it up to read I looked at the date 19th Jan!!! I put it back. I was called forward after 1hour and 10mins only to be told they could only fulfill part of the prescription the rest needs to be ordered and someone will call me. I waiting until 16th Feb to call them the 1st phone call got answered after a few times the person took details and put me on hold after about 6mins of waiting got cut off. I tried again several times after that finally about 20/5 mins later I got through again I explained again then I asked not to put me on hold after 10mins of searching, I was initially told they had been collected to which I explained again only part of them were collected and I'm waiting for the rest. I went in today to pick up the order they supposed to open at 9am this is the time the staff went in they should be in at least 10mins before 9am by time the doors opened it was 9:05am . Whilst waiting for the order I noticed gaps still around the shop and that newspaper still there!!! Totally unprofessional I know the chemist is busy as it's in the hospital but you need more staff especially to look after the shop side, if I was the Area Manager heads would roll. Advice do not get prescription sent there if they are prescribed by the hospital ask to be sent to own local one. Lesson learned."
"On the 9th February, went to collect very busy long wait to get service, told not ready to return Monday 12th after waiting lot a people standing , sitting again told not ready, went back on Wednesday 15th again told not ready told to wait, 30 minutes later got my meds. This is very poor slow service , rude staff who don't even smile or apologise Shop' has lot of empty shelves lacking goods."
"Absolutely shocking, as a regular at the hospital I have seen the waiting times for medicine increase over the last 3 years. Electronic prescriptions don't get processed until you go and ask for it which then means an hour wait If we could only take the prescriptions to local pharmacies life would be better but we are stuck with the sub par service at the hospital"
"I would avoid if my Dr/Midwife from Royal London Hosp didnt sent my prescriptions here. Waiting time for even one strip of antibiotic is 45mins-1hour even when it’s quiet and theres loads of staff at the back. Some patients come after you but get the medicine before you because they complain after waiting 15 mins or have excuses like they need to be elsewhere whilst the rest of us actually wait 45 mins without complaining which is unfair. Also there were times where patients were waiting a long time to be told the medicine is out of stock at the end"
"Mother discharged from royal London Friday and got call by Lloyds Katrina to collect 28 blood thinning injections tomorrow. Arrived Saturday morning to be told they don't open weekends??? Bearing in mind 81 year old needs this everyday as she can't move and the district nurse was arriving 6pm to give injection on Saturday. What an absolute joke. So unprofessional with people laughing in background which I really doubt are the customers. Why is this happening in our country..."
