"Changed pharmacies because of a staff member's attitude problem. There was a clear confusion between what the pharmacy have told me, and my GP had told me. Either way she didn't simply just clear this up to me because I have mental disabilities. The other day I was told by a pharmacist that took my number that she would speak to one of the staff members and they'd call me back which they didn't - which further confused me. Anyways, this other girl was telling me I haven't ran out of my medication, and I'm not low on it, even though I explained more than once that I am - and it's not her business anyway. She then was condescending saying "if you think you ran out..." There was no need for her attitude problem, it's not my fault she cannot do simple math and conclude that I was running low on my medication."
"My medication was missing from the bag the pharmacist gave me. When I realised, I called and they confirmed it was still in the fridge and apologised. When I arrived back the pharmacist denied it and started arguing with me in front of staff and customers. I pleaded with him to check the fridge and asked for an apology for arguing with me over a mistake HE made. When he found my medication in the fridge he proceeded to accuse me of having taken some other medication. I am so upset by this situation. The arrogance was astounding."
"This is the worst Boots Pharmacy. They NEVER answer the phone and they rarely send messages like they say they will, once your prescription is ready. On a number of occasions, I have wasted so much time waiting to be served, even for someone just to acknowledge that I was stood there waiting, in an otherwise empty store. The phone is constantly ringing and 3 staff members are just pottering around and ignoring it. The customer service is atrocious. Most recently I watched 2 staff members talk down to an elderly gentleman who was trying to pick up a prescription, He was getting visibly upset and the staff just continued being rude and not trying to help him. I would rather drag myself through the depths of hell than go back to this Boots. Avoid wasting your time here and go to another pharmacy that actually values your business."
"Arrived at 9am only to wait until 9.08am. No sign to say there will be a delay. No apologies for the delay. I was only told that 'we couldn't log in the computer and give you a prescription because our password wasn't working. We were late'.... I mean get your act together, and learn some customer skills."
"The head pharmacist was rude and unhelpful, my son was prescribed antibiotics for tonsillitis, I was told he couldn't give me the medication as he had not received the prescription. After 30 minutes of being on the phone, to my doctors receptionist, and the doctor himself he finally released my sons antibiotics. I understand that there would be a delay in receiving emails, my issue is, he was unkind and made me feel like a nuisance, the staff previously have always been really nice ."
