"The woman at the till at this moment always have a very bad customer service"
"Fantastic Customer service and service overall for an issue I had with my phone. Not only they fixed it within less than an hour, but they were also extremely honest, kind and went above and beyond!!! Definitely reccommend!"
"Having had two panic attacks and a near third within twenty minutes and being desperate to get away from the painful sounds of the street, I rushed into Gilbert’s for the shampoo I couldn’t get in Saver’s as I had to leave due to panic. The automatic door was unable to cope with me going through the door a little faster than average. It didn’t open enough for me to pass through without catching my shoulder. Annoyed as well as extremely overloaded, I shouted at the door and kicked it! My bad. One of the staff said to another ‘That’s very rude’ but didn’t say anything to me about it until I mentioned the problem. She then said (in an accusing tone) that I had gone through the door I too fast. (I said, I don’t know what the required speed is)! I was further stressed by this that so couldn’t cope with finding the shampoo on the shelf that said shampoo but only had conditioner. I took the cello-taped sign off to try to process it as I was unable to as it was. I commented that they should change the wording on the sign to reflect that it is conditioner and not shampoo. I left the shop without shampoo as I didn’t feel comfortable to ask for their assistance. Once calmer, I went back and calmy explained what had happed and why I rushed into the shop. (As I thought they needed some awareness of invisible disabilities. The woman I spoke to appeared to have a rushing manner, interrupting me to say ‘it’s okay’ before I had even had a chance to really explain. She was using calm down calm signals that I took to be very patronising, impatient and just wanting me to shut up. I was speaking calmly. I tried not to get angry at her manner. She said she had removed the sign. But she had not as I was unable to put it back because when I tried to I wasn't unable to process enough to do so. It was still on the floor where I had dropped it earlier as I was unable to process enough to pick it up after attempting to stick it back. I started to leave the shop again as I saw it was pointless talking to the woman. But then realised that I hadn’t mentioned the behaviour of the other staff member speaking about a customer without speaking to the customer with the problem they had with them. Again, the woman I spoke to, behaved in a way I can only describe as dismissively falsely polite and impatient wrapped in false patience. There had been no customers in the shop the first time and only on the second time. There were three or four staff members. I would advise the manager to see that his/her staff seek Autism and disability awareness training."
"The staff and pharmacist are always incredibly helpful and kind. I've been using Gilberts for years and they always do everything they can to ensure my prescriptions are in on time and ready for pick up. Always a pleasure to deal with - I'd highly recommend Gilberts chemist and thank you to the staff for always being so helpful."
"Bought from them ankle support. When I got in the car I found the box had been opened already . Went back to change only to be told they would not change the box as it had been opened. I was told I should have checked the box. They are selling it and it's their responsibility to check if the box had been opened prior to me buying it. They took it back from one of their favourite customers and I was refused a replacement. The indian cashier then started to speak in a different language. BEWARE anyone wishing to buy from them. Complete bogus company"
