"I have strolled past this restaurant so often over the years on my way to the seafront or off to meet friends, Every time I've looked in at its warm, cosy, elegant and busy interior and reminded myself that I have to see what it's all about.. Tonight, I did. Lovely people, a sophisticated though unstuffy coziness, friendly service, reasonable prices, and wonderful food. And did anyone say "white chocolate rice pudding"?"

"Wonderful experience. Decor is exquisite. Tapas were yummy and reasonably priced at circ £5 a dish. I treated myself to a 175ml glass of champagne for £10 and it came in a beautiful glass with a really long stem. Lovely touch. Red wine to die for. Oh and great staff. Other restaurants should take note. This is how you do it. Can't wait to come back. Thank you Mary's."

"We were on a short break in Somerset and visited Clevedon for the first time. We loved the town and the shops on the same road as Mary's (also the pier of course, but that's a separate review!). We went in for a morning coffee - well actually we had a beer instead as the selection was too tempting not to. Sat at a table with a wonderful view into the garden and beyond with glimpses of the sea. We booked to return in the evening and chose from the early evening menu. Everything was delicious, the portions much larger than expected for the price and the service was faultless. Worth going to Somerset for!"
