Reviews of Salt and Malt Chew Valley
"Upon the entry, warm welcomed by a bunch of young customer services. Great tasty FishNChips and Hamburger. I particular love the Chocolate cake. A short walk along the reservoir is always nice. Happy experience. Highly recommended. Cheers."
"Booked online and in the comment section added we have 2 Pugs. When we get there sorry no dogs allowed! So luckily for us a nice sunny day and a table available, so Not dog friendly folks! Although dog water bowls supplied outside so they are moving in the right direction, get a bit fed up being put with the smoker's! Nice crispy cod ( notice l said Crispy Cod not the chips ) and the smashed peas were nice, l had a large cod that certainly was not large and my wife had a small cod yes mine was bigger. One thing is thry have North Street Cider and the service was efficient but not friendly just doing a job! It seems to be like that a lot now sadly. We will return and won't bother to book anymore and take our chances can always eat in the car as yes they charge for parking, you get a £1 off though."
"As soon as I stepped in we were greeted with some of the best customer service I've experienced anywhere! Everyone was super attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful (as you can see from the picture). Not a lot of veggie options, but what we did have was great! Lovely restaurant that I look forward to going to again!"
"The best fish and chips in and around Bristol (here or the Wapping Wharf site). Chips are crispy and fluffy, all the batter is gluten free and deliciously crunch, the fish is plump and fresh and the garlic crushed peas will turn even the most devoted mushy pea lover. If I lived close to either of these sites it would be a bit dangerous as I could eat them every day. Leave the picnic at home!"
"We booked in for Lunch on a Sunday. The view is definitely very special, and the sky is full of seagulls and the grass full of cute ducks. The food was definitely tasty and arrived pretty quick. Most of the staff were kind too. One extremely weird and awkward thing that happened is that we asked for the Wifi password while our food was being prepared (the data signal there is poor) and the waitress replied “I don’t know” and walked off… that was that. Did she come back with the password? Definitely not… We had to ask another waitress ourselves, and funny enough it was the easiest password anyway… so weird!"
