"Food was absolutely banging. Chef came to the table to check on us and take order and was very funny with great service. We ordered steak, and 2 burgers and 2 desserts. All was excellent. Steak served on a hot plate and was very very cheap! Service was great. Waiters/waitresses very nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend"
"Highly recommend, food was amazing and the staff were lovely and friendly. The new manager was so nice and couldn’t do any more for us. What a lovely pub. Definitely coming back. Fantastic with the children."
"Just want to share some photos of the yummy lunch we had at the Brimsham Park pub yesterday, as we celebrated the first day of the Chinese New Year of Rabbit. Happy New Year! Food is good, just needed to wait for more than 30min."
"Nothing great but lots of room for improvements. The food was what was expected although some of the food was below par. The biggest problem was the length of time it took to serve the meals, this was very poor and if we had know it would have taken this long we would have gone else where. We were advised of a 45min wait due to staff shortages and this was fine. The actual time we waited for food was 1 1/2 hours. With other customers who ordered after us having their meal well before us, to one point one couple who ordered after us had eaten and left before ours had even arrived. No warning of a longer delay until we enquired at the 60 min+ mark when we would be eating. Fully understand the staff shortages although it was not a busy night but no feedback to us that the wait would be longer, no genuine apology, no offer of anything as an apology for the inconvenience. No check back that the food was OK once it was served. We were a party of 6 with young children who by this time where getting very tired and hungry. The children's meals arrived first with another 10 minutes wait before ours arrived. And to cap it all we were over charged on the bill when the childrens meals should have been £1 we were charged full price. Although this was corrected when we quired this it should have been correct to start with."
"A modern-ish estate pub on the Cask Marque Ale Trail. Quite spacious inside with plenty of parking. The ale Tribute (St Austell brewery- 4.2%abv) was in excellent condition and were it not for a long-ish drive afterwards, the temptation to prove 'quae in tribus est perfectum' would have been strong. Park of the Sizzling Pubs chain, there are more than a few interesting items on the menu. For a light bite, the breaded boneless chicken and Beer Battered Salt&Pepper Mushrooms were superb. A pleasant visit."
