"Escaping onto the river from the busy scenes at Kings Cross was a relief! Making our way through the crowds and descending the steps by the temporary Screen on the Canal cinema, we met Hazel, the owner of the boat and crew member Kat for a one way trip to Broadway Market. It was an incredibly hot and still day and we were pleasantly surprised by how much cooler it was near the water. The boat was spacious and well equipped to cater for the nibbles and drink we took on board…an ice bucket was certainly not expected! Moving through the water, watching all the people along one side and nesting birds and other wildlife on the other gave us a completely different take on the usual tourist experience. What a wonderful day!"
