Reviews of Mei Hua Platform
"Love this restaurant, every time I go in the owners are always so lovely and the food is fantastic. As someone with dietary restrictions the menu is fantastic for helping me get something I can eat and has a lot to choose from. Been going here for years and never ever had an issue. Portion sizes are massive (I always have leftovers for the next day) and the prices are very reasonable."
"This Chinese food takes me back to when it didn't taste like fast food from an assembly line, which covers a lot of Chinese takeaway's these days it is well cooked very very tasty and the portion size is huge, I have, and would recommend this to anyone, they all rave about the flavours missing on the fast food assembled food so common nowadays, and the service. I would not think about going anywhere else now and I have tried more than a few. The delivery is very fast and the staff really polite, I have read a few reviews on this and I thing they must have posted on the wrong restaurants. Thank you, you have restored my faith in Chinese food, ordering tonight."
"Very nice but make sure you give them the number instead off the food as they do get mixed up sometime example I asked for egg fried rice he gave me boiled rice I asked for chow mein he gave me spicy noodles it was swimming in oil I don't know if it was a bad container but the containers were dirty on the outside lid had other phone number on it then scrubbed with my number replaced looks dingy and dirty won't be going back would not suggesting this to my worst enemy but I do not like my food swimming in oil maybe others do I'm all for recycling but definitely not food containers from a Chinese takeaway staff very rude no customer friendly hygiene not on point looks bad on outside . People rush to give you your food they don't taste there own cooking what goes to show also if there not tasting it then they don't know how bad there food is a simple tasting could help them"
"Genuinely the worst Chinese Iv ever had. New to the area and there’s two local Chinese take away/ equally as bad as each other. We go to Bathgate for ours. Chicken curry is like carlt meat in water. Chips would break my veneer, terrible food! And the food was delivered in rapid time- too quick to have been cooked fresh!!"
"I don't usually complaint but the meal I had on Saturday 25/2/17 is the worst I've ever had!! The Prawn Crackers were brown as saturated in oil, the Kung Po had no taste at all and the chips were dry. I complained and meal was replaced. It got worse!! The Prawn Crackers were the same again and the Kung Po did have flavour but Prawns were undercooked. My son asked me if I could smell burning, I could, turned out it was the rice. It must have been fried in burnt oil (god knows ) Result was my son had very bad diarrhoea (ate some of the chips until I stopped him) and was ill through the night. I fully intend to report the restaurant as I've never seen anything as bad as this !!"
