"Loved the ambience, the location is quite central to glasgow ( nearabout Trongate) the layout and seating arrangement is quite spacious and has most of the basic amenities like wheelchair access and baby changing facilities. Special mention goes to the fact that we were a group of 10 and was successfully accomodated in one long table even after catering for decent number of customers as one would expect for a friday night in city centre glasgow. The crowd quality was quite decent and liked the hygiene measures , toilets were clean but a bit stuffy size wise and dark colour theme made it appear smaller and claustrophobic. The food we had was amazing, specially the tandoori platter- chicken and fish were sumotious, didnot like the lamb chop tandoori much as it was quite rubbery and tough. For the main course we went for laal maas ( lamb meat in spicy curry) , personal favourite was the rogan josh - absolute closest to indian level spice, the fish ajwain was okayish but wont be ordering in future- good for one time taste. The butter naan tasted well. Murgh Musqawala was also medium spicy and didnt catch much attention as compared to rogan josh in terms of spice levels. Outstanding was the ghost biriyani- had ordered jeera rice as well but would order only biriyani henceforth - it was thaaaatttt good! The raita was unique and tasted well. Overall, would definitely recommend and totally value for money!"
"Feel a bit disappointed with the food, it’s not what you expected for an Indian restaurant. I am always a fan of Indian cuisine and maybe I was just expecting more since it’s a nice restaurant. Service is just ok."
"Amazing food. Walked in on a Monday night, so pleased we did. Not the usual Indian restaurant menu, varied and everything was top notch. Service was quick and friendly. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Would definitely come back."
