"Went here for dinner on Christmas Day, got shown to our table almost immediately and drinks ordered. Waited over an hour for our starter, main course arrived, not much food and very tough steak. More drinks and desserts came at the same time as the last orders bell. Asked the girl clearing the tables what time they closed and she said 6pm, it was already 6.05 at this point. I said do we not get mince pies which she said she would get, I asked her just to put them in a box and I took them home. Staff were very helpful and looked embarrassed. Not a cheap day out and definitely not worth the money"

"We had an horrible experience having our Christmas meal earlier in Craig Dhu. Meal orders has been passed on a couple of weeks before Christmas day to make things more convenient. We also paid for deposit which we didnt mind at all. Arrived 3pm and starters came out about 4pm and by 4:40 ish we asked for our Mains to be serve and expressed our frustration. Why are we frustrated? Because we had 3 children with us! Children starters wasn't even served during this period and 1 adult starter. We are not asking for a 5 star service but only simply asking for the basic standard service "Is for the children to be served first". Mind you the rest of the other table has no children. A lady went to our table and wasn't even accommodating at all. While we are trying to explain the situation. She simply replied that if we are not happy with the service she can kick us out of the place. Came to the table with no apologies or follow up but instead it was a confrontational moment. She even mentioned we are serving 18 tables today and that they are working on Christmas day!!!! Ok we get it but if you can't handle the situation then dont accept our money/booking. Also if you're working for Christmas that is not our problem. You accepted the shift and you took our money so we expecting decent service from you. The service could have been mended quickly or easily but instead the people who served us had the audacity to say they can kick us out. That's was poor!!!! Never going back to this place it was a mistake!!!"

"True feeling of belonging! Nice drinks, very tasty dishes, cosy atmosphere and a quiz not to be missed!!! Pet friendly as well!"

"Amazing food, great prices and staff couldn't be any better!! We got the speciality hunters chicken and speciality fish n chips as well as sides/starters, highly recommend! We'll definitely be back, forgot to get the two ladies names but they were lovely and made us feel really comfortable, thank you!"
