"My wife ordered in last night, after a long week at work and we thought we have a break from cooking, we ordered and the food arrived a hr and some bit later, really wasn't impressed. Food was decent though and still warm, if it wasn't for that, it would be a 1 star rating. Won't be ordering anytime soon and sadly, the take away is just down the road from us."
"2.5 hr wait for food, called twice to chase. No apology and told to contact just eat as it was ordered through them. Food was cold when arrived and had clearly been with the delivery driver for some time."
"Heard that Taste of China has changed ownership recently so we decided to give it a try. The food was delicious and piping hot. Really is the best chinese we have tasted in a long while. Deserves the five star rating. Will be making this our local chinese from now on."
"Two out of three meals ok. Phoned to ask about sorting out an issue with the third meal - it was basically a tub of onions with 5 small pieces of duck that was more fat than meat - I was told I'd have to buy another one if I was unhappy. We won't be back, a shame since we've been loyal customers since moving in 8 years ago, even through the phase of short-changing last year."
"One of the worst takeaways ever. Like what several people have complained about, food took over 3 hours. We obviously would not have waited that long if we had known, however, the restaurant would lie and say the food would be with us in thirty minutes etc. After two hours: its with the driver etc. (We rang about 7 times and got fed similar lies each time that made us hang on and wait for it.) At the three hour mark we cancelled the order wishing we'd cancelled it sooner. If you order from here and the food is late and they say it'll be fifteen to thirty minutes, my advice would be to cancel it as you may well have to wait three hours."
