"May be dramatic considering I’ve lived here my entire life but Ondine is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Edinburgh. Wonderful service and gorgeous food that arrived very quickly after ordering. The restaurant itself has a really chill ambiance, I cannot wait to go back and try more items off the menu! 10/10 across the board!"
"Love the food and the environment! The roast share plate is very nice and the soup is also amazing. My favourite is the bread they served before the meal, it would be nice if I can know the name of the bread. Never had such amazing bread and I would definitely buy and eat them every day!"
"Fresh and delicious seafood. I highly recommend the seafood platter for sharing. It got a good amount of different types of seafood, including 4 big oysters, 2 huge scallops (biggest I have ever seen), 2 langoustines, many mussels and also crab legs. Their raw oysters were also very good, I prefer them to the fried ones. The fried calamari was okay, the Vietnamese sauce came with it has too strong smell. I wish I didn’t order fried squid and save room for desserts."
"Decent experience. My main was on par with other seafood restaurants. Naturally flavourful, nothing more and nothing less. Presentation of dishes also acceptably standard. Batter and fry somewhat disappointing by comparison. Lighting somewhat darker than usual, alright for dining, not that great for appreciating the beautiful red colour of the lobster I was to consume."

The fish quality is really great through, I do wish they were slightly more adventurous with their spices The salt and pepper tempura was lacking in both salt and pepper in a weirdly heavy batter. The accompanying sauce was adequate. The lemon sole was fresh but anemic in spices. Solid deserts"
