"Popped in for a drink and a snack. Only 1 table was occupied. We were told we had to leave because they needed the tables for their lunch rush. Guess my money wasnt good enough. 15 minutes later there wasnt a soul in there. Why do you have tables and chairs then?"

"I tried to have breakfast (coffee and a roll) but the staff claimed the sit in area was closed (8:30am)even though there was 6 tables clean and empty. The explanation was that there were only two members of the staff and too many tables. Bacon roll was ok!"

"The food is basic, tasty and well prepared. It's well organised for Covid-19, and the staff worked to make sure customers complied. The big down, especially as a sit-in customer, was the almost constant bickering amongst the staff. The first time I was in, I was taken aback at how they spoke to each other, thinking it was a one-off. The bad news is that, months later, my second experience has been identical to the first - terse, irritated interactions between the staff seriously detracting from any relaxation while having a snack/drink."
