"Ordered online for 80 minutes later, went to collect and spent 50 minutes waiting for it to be ready. Was assured it would be only 10 minutes more, 30 minutes before it was ready. Should have cut my losses and gone elsewhere. To make matters worse, one of the dishes was cold. Perplexed - that’s the first and only time - there are better options in Dalkeith."

"I must admit I had avoided ordering from here due to a bad experience a few years ago with a delivery that never turned up after two hours but I'm glad I gave them another try this being the third occasion I have ordered since they opened in Dalkeith. Although the delivery was just over by around 5-10 minutes on their estimate I was happy to see it arrive this time. My order was small just a butter chicken and roti both were delivered hot, cooked well and delicious. Hopefully I will order again with a similar positive experience."

"I don’t hesitate to eat chicken usually but they scared me today with chicken tikka. They have just used yesterday kebab and added a masala, Gave it to us in the name of tikka. I even noticed some green spots on the chicken. Just threw them out in the bin, waste of money literally."

"First couple of times we ordered was great…went for a meal in once and it was like a one woman show, had to go hunting for her as we stood for ages. Then the last time we had a delivery I found undercooked chicken. Just one bit so I just let them know via messenger, took them 8 days to respond. Thought we would give them another shot and I ordered through Just Eat as there was a deal on, or so I thought. Restaurant cancelled order, with a stinking attitude saying there was no deal, refused to honour the discount considering the issue was with just eat and not us, then hung up the phone on us. Went back to old faithful Itihaas, who incidentally have never served us undercooked chicken or hung up on us."

"Update! The owner called me after seeing this review. Apologised and assured me that this never going to happen again. Offered me a full refund and some discounts of from the next order. I accepted his apology and the offer. Ordered a duck wrap and it was full with duck bones. One piece almost stuck across in my mouth!! I have given one point as the taste was nice before it landed in the bin."
