"Best at travel, worst at customer service! Recently tried to book a trip with best at travel, price agreed in June and position on the flight confirmed. Constant negotiation over two months (slow to respond to emails, promises to call back unfulfilled, I kept having to chase) due to mysterious price increases. At the point where we had the full itinerary agreed and a small increase in cost my sales agent was changed... No details passed over to the new sales agent, had to start all over again... my price had increased by £1,600! Refusal to match original price and complaint ignored by the best at travel customer service team, blame passed on to everyone other than themselves. In the end after two months I still had no holiday, and my confidence in the competence of the agency had gone. No word of an apology throughout the whole process, despite two months of my time wasted. I went to another travel agency and got the same holiday for the same price with better quality accommodation, a more exciting itinerary and much better service! All booked within two days. Will not be using BAT again"
