Reviews
"Nice ambiance, lovely hosts ! Amazing starters, pretty good desserts! Overall great experience !"
"I can understand some restaurants have bad days but based on some of the other reviews, this happens alot. No idea how they've got a 4.4 star rating! First of all, no one told us that you can only order from the app and you have to pay it straightaway, no way to pay cash or this wasn't pointed out. Food arrive promptly except one item which came out when everyone was finished eating. Drinks took ages to come out, and came out half way eating and i was getting rather thirsty. The fish in the platter and rice doesn't seem fresh and i speculate was made far earlier hence not fresh, i had to spit one of them out cause it tasted so bad. Not everything was bad, the eel and rice was the only nice thing about it. Having been to alot of Japanese restaurants in Glasgow, i would have to rank Nanakusa as the worse we've been to so far and will very unlikely to return."
"Food poisoning risk: The sushi was COOKED in both bento boxes. It's supposed to be eaten raw and since it is in the same box as the hot food it got steamed and is unsafe. I didn't eat it as it smelled horrible and eating cooked sushi is a serious food poisoning risk."
"It was alright. Got this Bento for £15 which I thought was very overpriced but I was ready be proven wrong. I was not. The miso was watery. The tempura deep fry tasted like it was from Tesco, it was very oily and inside was all mashed up. It was weird. The teryaki chicken was ok, nothing was bad neither great. Same with sushi, the salmon felt like it was a bit old (the fresh salmon tastes completely different)."
"Amazing food. The Takoyaki is so yum! Honestly a faultless and fantastic meal. We've been about a dozen times over the years and can't fault the food, the service or the staff. It's all top notch!"
