"I rarely leave a negative review, however this company simply charged me top whack to crunch a few numbers and produce accounting records and tax returns. They were not proactive in using their tax expertise to help me organise my affairs in a more tax efficient way or to help me grow my business and improve cash flow (for example I feel I would have benefitted from incorporating many years ago yet it was only when I did my own research and pushed for it that it happened). They suffer from having too many sub departments and each time I called I was dealt with by a different person. Whilst the individuals there are no doubt highly knowledgeable within their respective fields I feel this disjointed approach to client account management has cost me thousands of pounds. I moved to a local firm and now have a single point of contact, get almost immediate responses to my emails and am confident that they share my vision of growing my business and investments in a tax efficient way. To sum up my new accountant says "This is what we recommend you do." Morris and Co used to say the words any client of an accountant dreads to here "This is what you should have done". Of course, by then it' too late. If you have been with this firm for a few years, how about a change and get a fresh, single pair of eyes to look at your affairs - it might save you cash."
