Howlywood Dog Groomers

"I took my 12 month old Belgian shepherd for her first grooming, I was unsure of how she would react as this was a new experience for her. The girls at Howlywood were very professional and Rogue look amazing when they had finised. Thank you ladies. Highly recommended."

"My boys were getting adjusted to this groomers however my last experience was far from satisfactory. We'd been multiple times and I told the girls what I wanted doing, however on pickup they did a few things I specifically told them not too. As my dogs were getting used to them and the girls were nice I didn't bother raising the issue. However fast forward to my last groom, I had told the girl I didn't want my dog shaven and just an overall cut. I was very specific in my ask and it wasn't anything out of the ordinary for a groomers capability. However I received a text from the girl stating she'd already shaved my dog, of course without my consent or consultation. She stated it was due to knots, regardless she should've stoped and asked my permission before going ahead and taking it upon herself to do as she wishes. Of course I know sometimes the only option is to shave, I'm not bothered about that, it's the fact I specifically told them not to do it. Only to receive a text stating they already had. What was I to do, glue his hair back on? Of course I was upset and diasapointed, so when I went to pick him up I tried to explain my reasoning for my disappointment, however the 3 girls were hostile and didn't seem to care much about the reasoning to why I was upset. And of course I spoke at a higher volume due to the nature of the environment i.e dogs barking, noisy machines. But one of the girls thought I was speaking in an out of tone manner, which regardless of what happened I'd of never done nor meant if I had. One of them even said to take my dogs elsewhere if I didn't like it, which is disheartening as I was a regular here and my dogs became accustomed to. Overall a terrible experience."

"Cooper, our 6 month old Bernese Mountain dog loved his first visit to Howlywood's and came back looking and smelling fantastic. Laura greeted us and immediately put Cooper at ease - she was fantastic with him and you could see how much she genuinely cares for her client's dogs. The other girls were also all lovely too and very caring. Cooper loved all the attention he got. Thank you for a great job xx"
