The vet explained what treatments could be tried and the best order to try them to eliminate different possible causes of the sickness and what to do if I needed help out of hours etc. I felt reassured and proactive after the visit and confident I had done the right thing."

"Sylvia is an absolute credit to the practice! Our cats have been quite poorly recently and Sylvia has been our hero. On one occasion Sylvia worked beyond her hours to undertake blood tests and have our cat transferred to emergency vets for treatment through the night. Sylvia has recently biopsied and undergone operation procedure on another cat who is now fit and healthy again. Sylvia treats our cats like her own and we cannot thank her enough for her due diligence, work ethic and expert guidance. We know that our babies are in safe hands with Sylvia. The biggest thank you ever from the bottom of our hearts xx"

"I'm giving this practice 2 stars instead of 1 because I think that Shawn is a fabulous and knowledgeable vet. Unfortunately many other staff members here, despite also being knowledgeable are just downright unprofessional judgmental and rude to a level that was at times shocking. It honestly felt like they just didn't like our dogs and wanted to drive us away.The communication was horrible, contemptuous, dismissive and patronizing. I was laughed at and literally mocked for asking simple questions. It became impossible to feel confident in our pets treatment. All I wanted was to know as much as possible to be the best dog owner and I was humiliated and confused. He wouldn't even acknowledge our dogs during visits, which we saw was not the case with other clients as we sat in the waiting room. All the red flags started going up but we tried to stay with them anyway since we had been so happy in the begining. And like I said, they are all clearly capable and intelligent despite the sometimes hostile environment and we really did love Shawn. But then we had one of our dogs neutered. Firstly, they gave him a medication we specifically requested not be given to ANY of our pets as it caused one to loose an eye(a medication they assured me they did not use). Which regardless of it being in our records they never asked permission to administer it or I would have certainly said NO. This really worried me in terms of future visits, as he's also highly allergic to penicillin. They sent him home in a surgical suit covered in urine after telling us TWICE they had removed the hole for him to go through. We brought several with us to make sure it was right fit, as they laughed at me when I asked what size they recommended and said "whatever one fits-DUH" (Yes he literally said 'Duh') We then had to put a cone on instead. We called and emailed for over two weeks and never were given permission to remove it. I called to discuss it and the receptionist (I believe her name is Cat) actually gave us an ear full about our dog and how she could see that we are bad owners because we did precisely what she instructed us during the five min she met us. Which is when I decided I'd had enough. For all they know he's still wearing a cone to this day. Again a real pitty as Shawn was one of the best vets I've ever met, but he's simply too busy for office appointments and I can not trust the communication enough to know I'm doing what is best for our dogs."
