"Avoid! I will never go back to this shop again. Dogs welcome on the door! Been here plenty of times recently after deciding to give the new owners a chance and had great experience from the young ladies, man and the older man. Today however there was one older man whom I’ve not seen before. Came in with 2 dogs and was treated like I was going to steal, was watched, my dog got told to move away from the boxes that had natural treats in! Told that some dogs and owners steal as the dogs eat most of the stock!!! If I wasn’t in the shop with my dogs and they weren’t used to having natural bones daily and we had some at home I would have left straight away. However I just purchased a couple of bones quickly until I know I can get a delivery from ordering online. Got to the till the man didn’t know the prices held up a large puzzle stick and said these are £7.99 then proceeded to tell me how much that would be for 2, if I didn’t want them they wouldn’t have been in my basket to purchase. After paying he tried to better his customer service by making small talk and stroking and saying hello to my friendly dogs. Hence to say the damage had already been done at that point and I will be shopping elsewhere in the future where there is great customer service and no judgment."

"Called in M&L Pets world after one of my budgies died and i wanted a new one so my reamaining budgie wasn't lonely. I can't thank the staff and owner enough for their help, friendleness, knowledge and advice. Even though it was nearing closing time they managed to source a budgie for me, and set me up with a new cage for a great price and they added toys and food at no extra cost. "This was a fab pet shop before it was taken over. Been going there for a long time and the staff were so knowledgeable and helpful. I called in to buy the usual large bag of dog food but it was not available, I gave my request and contact number and never got a call back! Previously I would get a text within a few days to say it had arrived and I could collect. I appreciate it takes time to get established, but if you have no intention of ordering items for regular customers then tell them and don’t take their number! I’m now ordering on line, which is a shame as I wanted to support local business"
