"Pure and utter greed nearly a tenner for a pack of toilet rolls nearly everything rounded upto a fiver or tenner disgusting. One of the poorest areas charging the highest prices c@nt& ten times on what a product is worth. And I bet the staff still get payed a pittance greed and profit at its best the owner should be shot"

"I am always surprised by the range of products in the small store. Staff were fantastic and so friendly! Thank you and no doubt, see you again soon!"
"most of the staff are polite and friendly with the exception of 2 (who i won't name) who will not move out the way when filling shelves or move their trolley if someone is trying to get to those shelves. one of these never smiles either. there is also one member of staff who always smells bad of body odour. although polite and friendly, most of the staff are not helpful if you cannot find something or if you have a complaint either. usually kept clean, although i've noticed that spills on the floor sometimes get ignored even when reported by a customer. been a few times i have been charged the wrong price in the past, but not for quite a while now to be fair. last week they had ran out of both bags for life and single use bags. they were giving out compostable caddy bin liners to customers to use but still charging 10p for these even though they were saying they are not very strong and might split on the way home. it was also not made clear there would still be a charge for these until i looked at my receipt. it is very cheeky to charge people for a bin liner when it is not the customers fault that you have not ordered enough. they are also a lot smaller so ended up aying for these than for the bags for life i had asked for. today i bought another compostable bag (slightly larger than the ones i was conned into purchasing last week) but was charged for a bag for life. i believe this was done on purpose as the member of staff on the counter was very rude and made it quite clear she wanted to sell me a bag for life instead. upon politely complaining about the bag situation over the phone and being tricked like this twice, the member f staff on the phone was very unhelpful and rude, and spoke to me like i was an idiot. she wouldn't put me through to a manager and insisted i should call a free phone number for customer service. conveniently, this sounded like the same woman who had served me at the till, but i could be mistaken. i will say though that this lady has worked there for a long time and i have never had any problems with her before and she is usually polite. i have nothing against paying the bag charge, but when i pay it, i expect to be given carrier bags, not bin liners, i don't expect to be charged double, and i expect as the customer to be allowed to make the choice whether to buy a bag or not and what type of bag. however, most things are reasonably priced and there are some decent bargains if you look hard enough. not got a very good range on somethings, especially fresh fruit and veg, and frozen desserts. the staff did work hard in the initial stages of the pandemic to keep people, although there is nothing to encourage people to wear masks other than an occasional announcement. sanitiser for hands and handles are provided, but most people don't seem to be using it. if that is D10 in the spray bottle, it should be labelled with the date is was mixed as it needs to be replaced every 7 days; after 7 days, it is just like cleaning with water. mixture of positives and negatives here....."
"Plenty of variety. The staff are pleasant and polite."
