"At the age of 42 having recently realised that my lack of concentration, impusivity and frequency of making errors at work was beyond normal I googled the symptoms and found that they, among others matched with ADHD almost 100%. I went to my GP but was told there was a 12 month wait to be seen. With the effect it was having on my life I decided to look for a private psychologist to help. I contacted Bethany and was seen within a week for an initial review, and then a further week later for a full assessment. The assessment was thorough and explored current and previous impacts in my life. Bethany made me feel at ease in a fairly daunting situation. We agreed a treatment plan and I am now on the way to leading as close to a normal life as possible. From initial review to treatment it took around 4 weeks. Given that I have lived with this my whole life and only just realised it's a huge relief to finally be able to think clearly. Bethany was great explaining everything in detail so you know what to expect and is really approachable and friendly. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to be diagnosed with ADHD. I've never gone private for health care before but what I will be able to achieve in the next 12 months will far outweigh the costs in my eyes."
