Reviews of Crookes Valley Park
"Nice walk, the lake looked very barren. Not sure if it's a rowing lake but if felt like it could have benefited from a water feature instead of a vast body of water."
"Very popular in the warmer days with the students , fishing some large roch in there , dam house restaurant And bar , sad no boats anymore, avoid swimming very dangerous few have drowned as very deep and cold , good playground for the kids , also out door table tennis table , crown green bowling club , although don’t think open to public, museum and Weston park nr by ."
"Very accessible for wheel chair users. Links to the Sheffield museum through pleasant walk amongst shrubs and flowers, whilst absorbing a combination of historical Sheffield university buildings and modern infrastructures. On road parking available from 8:00 to 6:30 pm - pay and display. No toilet facilities in the park however there are public venues around the park such as coffee shop etc."
"A lovely escape from the hustle and bustle of Sheffield city centre! Even during the pandemic with the museum closed, there's plenty to see and explore on a sunny day. It's a shame the bins were full to overflowing on my visit, but apart from that eyesore, it's a scenic stroll. I particularly liked the intricate waterway and bridges, and the huge lake with its plentiful ducks! You might even say it's a “quacking” place to visit."
