"This is quite a nice free place to go in Mansfield. It has a large park for children of all ages. There is a basketball / 5 a side football pitch free to use. An onsite cafe is a nice touch as well. There are a couple of bowling greens for those who play bowls. The park has paths all around it which are dotted with outdoor gym equipment for those active mind people. A small river runs through the park with several bridges allowing you to cross over to the other side. At one corner is a outdoor amphitheatre where you could put on a show for your friends or other people in the park. It's great for picnics in Nice weather and a generally nice area to meet up with friends. It's situated quite close to the town centre so not far from amenities but unfortunately has no onsite toilets but other than that it's a nice addition to Mansfield Town centre."
