Reviews of Kirkstall Valley Nature Reserve
"Peaceful place, good for walking, close to the city and you will feel like you're away from all the city noise. It's a great place to clear your mind. Waterproof or water resistant shoes is preferred."
"Went for a look about with my son. He loved it and will be a great place to revisit in Spring/Summer. Weather had been mild so not too muddy but we took wellies just in case. Went down to Armley beach and then continued the circuit. My son even spotted a seal.. (Or so he said) See if you can see its head in my picture.. Looking forward to going back when everything is fresh and bright."
"A beautiful place to escape to, though at risk of being ruined by more visitors and the resulting rubbish and habitat destruction. Please respect the wildlife and stick to paths... stay quiet and you'll spot all sorts of wonderful wildlife."
"Lovely hidden gem in the heart of leeds. Very nice and quiet. Easy flat walk with the children."
"Visiting in winter for the first time. It's kind of hidden away and runs alongside a busy railway. Parking is just before a electricity power station just before the railway bridge. It has lots of hidden surprises! In a few months this small place will come to life.. the paths are good but probably hard to get about some places with a pram and wheelchair. There seems to be a nature trail for children that have numbered posts with insects on. It doesn't take long to go around but could spend and hour and a half here especially in the warmer months."
