"Lovely place to go bird watching. Cab be accessed either from Fleet Lane, in Oulton, or from the entrance to St Aidan's RSPB reserve in Swillington. Either way, if you are a keen birdwatcher, or just like seeing the birds, you'll enjoy yourself!"

"Terrific place to go birding but can be spoilt by dog-walkers who allow their mutts to charge about without respect to other users and the fact that it is a nature reserve. Schedule One species often disturbed by their antics."
