Reviews of Pendle Leisure Trust
"Use this facility on an almost daily basis for numerous activities including studio classes, swimming, pool, and gym. Excellent local facility"
"Well equipped gym. Never seems over full. Recommended."
"I used to like coming here, true in general most of the staff are lovely .However recently a member /swimmer did an unsafe act ,barging into me and other swimmers,.I raised this as a health and safety concern.I was totally ignored by managers namely Sam and Martin,They ignored that I have personal problems and because of my action due to them not listening effectively banned me .They totally ignored the criminal implications of there actions. This was the second time around with the said swimmer, the told me they had sorted it out.I have contacted health and safety council and they confirmed that this was victimisation, and that they had indeed broken the law..Quiet honestly they know of my problems and considering there charity is minds I find them to be hypocrites.I find that the management is very clucky ,The area manager has promoted the manager who are personal friend as are her under manager Martin .I feel that this has to be made public ,they are desperate for members ,my advice is ,they don't care about your health and safety ,it's the money they are interested in .This is not a safe place to go There is alot more on this matter on the Colne gym site ,I ask everyone to read it They really are discusting people ,they did not ban me because of my behaviour but because they felt that it was affecting people returning .Sorry what and who did this problem arise from??? Firstly from the dangerous swimmer, who is still there ,and secondly the management because they would abey criminal laws, and also incapable of dealing with people who have disadvantages. Terrible place it really is.Alison you should be ashamed of yourself ,the affect you have on people who are disadvantaged should haunt you for your life .Your refusal to get both sides of the story not just your managers but mine is discracfull. Like I have said on the Colne site .The OWNER obviously has no answer to these points as he/she has no answer and knows full well the company's failings."
"Great place to exercise.... I attended cardiac exercise class every Monday at 11am with caring friendly Danny.. Highly recommended..."
"The only pool in pendle that has easy disabled access to the pool, yet the hoist either never works or is way to slow. Resulting in getting over cold after swimming. The amount of my money spent on facilities for able bodied people is amazing yet it's disgusting they couldn't put a decent jousting system in the changing rooms what happened yo equal rights here"
